  • What I do, where I work

  • I currently work with Acceso Hispano/Self-Reliance Foundation, developing and directing projects designed to engage the Latino general public — adults and kids — in science and health. Current projects include ConCiencia/Hispanic Newswire (a weekly news service that disseminates science and health news in Spanish to newspapers, radio, and the Internet)and Celebra la Ciencia (science outreach through coalitions of science museums and other organizations in seven regions).

I also work with organizations as a consultant in planning, evaluating, and developing grant funding for informal science projects. Recent projects have included evaluation of radio programs, youth science programs and exhibits; planning a new museum; and developing grant funding for several NSF and NIH projects.
