What I do, where I work
I am a consultant specialising in interpretation and visitor research. I have worked for a wide range of different organisations including the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Melbourne; the Brisith Museum; Centre for Life, Newcastle; Tate Modern; Techniquest, Cardiff; Thinktank, Birmingham; and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
A lot of my work revolves around assisting project teams to define target audiences and project objectives, develop exhibit ideas and conduct front-end and formative evaluation. I also run training courses in visitor research, exhibition interpretation and interactive exhibit development

More about me
I was at the Science Museum, London for 15 years working on many of the major exhibition projects such as Challenge of Materials, the Wellcome Wing, Energy – Fuelling the Future and the new Launchpad gallery. I am a regular contributor to Heritage365 and am a Visiting Research Fellow at Kings College London
