What I do, where I work
I am currently Head of Exhibit Development at the Centre for Life, Newcastle upon Tyne. I am responsible for raising the money for new projects, planning how we will deliver each one and managing the process through to completion. Right now I’m developing a plan for a new hands-on gallery to promote and exercise the mental and physical skills you might need as a scientist so that I can raise the money to start designing.

More about me
We have just completed a 3 year project to redevelop 1500sqm of our permanent exhibition space to create three galleries on human life. “Our Origins” looks at the evolution and migration of modern humans and their near relatives, “Our World” looks at how human populations adapt to live in diverse environments, and “Our Future” presents three contemporary science topics that could change human life in the future. We delivered in 2 phases, both within budget and sufficiently on time to let us go for a drink the night before opening!
