  • More about me

  • I studied architecture at Colorado and RISD and taught ID and architecture at RISD, Ball State University, and the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

I worked for Charles and Ray Eames on the IBM Pavilion for the NY World’s Fair, and became design director at the Boston Children’s Museum. In 1964, I established a firm of educators, developing exhibits, curriculum materials and interactive educational media for a variety of non-profit, institutional and governmental clients, as well as McMillan Publishers and Creative Playthings.

I’ve developed master plans for new children’s museums in Boston, Washington, Muncie, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Richmond, New Orleans and Eureka! in the UK, and exhibits for science museums in Chicago, Montgomery and Boston, The Computer Museum, Lowell National Park, Old Sturbridge Village and the Mystic Aquarium, as well as the National Zoo, Boston’s Franklin Park and Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian.
