What I do, where I work
I work in Systems of Representation Research Group in the Media lab of the University of Art and Design Helsinki (Taik). I design and research into visitors’ generating content in exhibition. I am interested in analysing visitors’ participation: how to design for gathering and displaying high and creative visitors’ content in exhibitions? How this participation made exhibitions more democratic and accessible places?
I was involved in three different projects that deal with visitors’ voices and offer open ended posibilities: Sound Traces (participative audio guide) in collaboration with Ateneum, Conversational Map in collaboration with Taidehalli and The Secret Life of Objects in collaboration with Design Museum Helsinki (http://thesecretlifeofobjects.blogspot.com/).
