  • What I do, where I work

  • In the past few years, I have worked with cultural organizations—mostly museums—doing audience research using a variety of methodologies. I specialize in qualitative, ethnographic methods such as interviews and observations. Most recently, I led a formative study with the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History, in which we explored informal ways to engage visitors with science and the natural world.

Using my background in audience research as a springboard for understanding visitors, I am interested in becoming involved in exhibit development. I welcome opportunities for employment or collaboration—or even interesting conversation about the field!
