  • More about me

  • I enjoy developing and designing interactive programs and exhibits. The projects where students have the opportunity to design, create, and build exhibits have been particularly rewarding.

    Exhibit projects have included:

Solar Storms to Radio Waves: a collaboration with MIT-Haystack Observatory scientists to develop interactive exhibits and programs highlighting the properties of radio waves and how they are affected by space weather.

Girls in Engineering and Girls Get SET for Life (Science, Engineering, & Technology): collaborations with Tufts School of Engineering – over 4 years, 14 different teams of middle school girls designed and built interactive exhibits for the Museum.

Explore & Discover: A Museum-School Partnership with Uxbridge, MA schools. Components of this program included: professional development workshops for teachers, high school Explore & Discover Class in which students designed and built interactive exhibits for use in elementary classrooms, Visiting Artist workshops, Outdoor River Classroom. Student and museum built Concept Boards or interactive wall mounted exhibits, were designed to be interchangeable activities rotated through classrooms, community centers, and museums.
