  • What I do, where I work

  • I completed my PhD thesis on Laboratory Interactivity: The Rethinking of Science Museums at the Centre for Cultural Studies, Goldsmiths College, University of London. Taking the Science and Technology studies approach, my PhD research focused on the various strategies for “popularizing science” in the science museums, and the implications of developing a new model of science communication. My doctoral fieldwork covered numerous international institutions, including sites in the National Museum of Natural Science in Taiwan; the Exploratorium in the USA; The Science Museum and the Natural History Museum in London.Particularly, I examined how the museums attempted to adopt a new communication “tone” on controversial issues of new technology research.
