Bringing the Outside into an Exhibition

  • The National Geographic Museum set up bird feeders outside of the ground floor “Birds of North America” exhibition in 2009 so that visitors could view them from mock bird-viewing houses within the exhibit. Binoculars and bird identification books were provided at the viewing stations.
